Tried multiple dishes and all were unique and excellent. Nothing was just "ordinary" even down to the sweet potato fries. Fresh and delicious and the a/c was a welcome respite after a morning hike.

Best pizza, I stopped here for lunch while I was climbing the sleeping bear dunes a few days ago. First time I ate here was 10 years ago and it’s just as good as I remembered, add the garlic to the crust.

Opens late so it is a bonus. No other restaurant was open at that time. And they accomodated us and 3 other families that were in need of a dinner.Food is acceptable. Burgers and fries . Have a small market too (fruits, tea, snacks among other stuff)

MOST AMAZING PIZZA EVER!!!! On our vacation from Florida we stopped here on the way to Sleeping Bear Dunes. The staff in particular Brandon was so so nice with tons of local information & advice for us! It was so nice to have conversation about local favorites & travels! We ordered the aloha pizza & let me tell you! The most amazing pizza I have ever had! Pineapple, bacon, ham, cheese, garlic, onions, more cheese & the most delectable crust that melts in your mouth! They also serve us local soda from Traverse city which was so cool! Love to see local businesses supporting other local businesses! Also loved the vibe inside! We will be back!

I had the Buffalo Chicken wrap and it was one of the best wraps I've had. All the ingredients were fresh, and the wrap held together very well.

Awesome pizza. Nice outdoor seating on picnic tables. There is no indoor seating right now due to the Covid. Would definitely eat again!

Super good pizza (get the Parmesan garlic crust!) and great selection of beer (even cider!). Warm & cozy atmosphere with trendy decor while retaining the cool “dive-bar” look (pinball machines!). Family-friendly and fun kids menu with area local attractions as the answers to the crossword. We enjoyed it.

Great find - outstanding pizza and an impressively diverse draft list of Michigan beer. Outdoor seating only at this time but many people were having a drink while waiting for to go food, and good for them - can't miss this place. Also a solid beer fridge of to-go local beer.

Fabulous pizza! Our party was tremendously pleased with each of selections! We'd recommend this pizza, not cheap - but flavorful and worth the price.

Very good service, I had a pulled pork sandwich it was piping hot and yummy. All Covid protocols were followed. I would eat there again.

The beer food and service are awesome. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area. Will be back

Gluten free pizza is pretty delicious here. Friendly staff and it's the prefect place to stop after the beach.

Wonderful food and friendly staff. We always stop to eat here when in the area. It is part of our Sleeping Bear tradition.

Vegetarian selections, many special home-made items, good value, and made with L❤️VE. Give them a try, love what you have, and leave a big tip! Empire is blessed to have these hard-working food-loving chefs!

Just a reminder, this was all during Covid-19 restrictions. Food was good, server was very friendly. Got the Michigan Grilled cheese, very good. My kid got the Pizza Sticks, they were... Ok, pretty good for kids food. All of it was to go, but definitely be back to try again.

Really great experience here, stopped for lunch a few days ago. Arrived right when they opened at 11 and Brandon greeted us out front and took care of us, the whole time. Great guy who really cared about the restaurant and his area. Spent a while talking with us about what we had going on this weekend and gave us great insight on the local tips and places. Service couldn't have been better, and to top it off the pizza was GREAT. We shared a large Aloha Pie. Very fresh ingredients, displayed very nice and they have a delicious Parmesan Garlic crust add-on for just a dollar more. Make sure to check these guys out when passing through the Empire area!

Had the parm fries and a shoom mama pizza... It was so delicious.

The service was way more friendly than I am used to being from Detroit lol. I loved how they are on top of refills. Yummy food too.

Stopped here late at night after a quick climb on the dunes with a car load of hungry teenagers and they quickly cooked up wonderful pizza for us to eat on the road. It was great!!

Excellent service & delicious food !! Our mr. meaty pizza was super good, they accommodated our meat preferences . BLT sandwich was super good as well. Highly recommended if near sleeping bear dunes area. Empire has nice beach as well !!
